1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

heat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, milk, vannila and egg; blen well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Pleace 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely.
