3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup crisp rice cereal (like Rice Krispies)
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
Cooking Instructions
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except oats, rice cereal, coconut and walnuts. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes). By hand stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned.
