Pecan Pie
This pecan pie recipe is a Southern favorite and chocked full of pecans
and a sweet gooey filling!

1 9-inch
unbaked pie shell
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups light corn syrup
1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla

3 eggs
1 1/2 cups pecans
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted |
Preheat oven to 375
degrees F.
Prepare pastry for
One Crust Pie.
In a large bowl, combine
brown sugar, flour , syrup, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Stir in pecans
and margarine or butter. Pour into pastry.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 40 to 50 minutes or until center of pie is
puffy and golden brown. Cool. Shield crust with foil if it begins to brown
to quickly.
