Cookie Recipe for Delicious Crunchy Pecan Crispies

Pecan Crispies
These praline flavored pecan cookie is perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

• 1/2 cup shortening • 1/2 cup butter • 2 cups brown sugar • 1 cup granulated sugar • 2 beaten eggs	• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour • 1/2 teaspoon salt • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda • 1 cup pecans • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix together butter and shortening until creamy. Beat in brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mixing well. Stir together flour, salt and soda and blend in with butter mixture. Stir in pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
