Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
I have tried every oatmeal raisin cookie recipe there is
and this is THE BEST ONE!

Yield: 3
1/2 dozen cookies

• 3/4 cup
granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 egg
• 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts |
Preheat oven to 375
degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream
butter, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and
egg; blend well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to
butter mixture and mix well. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake in 375 degree F. oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
